Building Your Online Identity

When: The next “First Thursdays” will happen on May 3rd from 12-1
Where: The Lobby of The Claude Moore Health Sciences Library

May’s First Thursdays explores the topic of Online Identity and Privacy.  Dan Wilson will lead a discussion on topics that will include building your online reputation, authenticity vs. anonymity, who wants to know about us, and how we are often caught between our wish for privacy and our desire to share.  Does privacy exist in the online world?  Come join in the discussion. Dan Wilson is the Associate Director for Collections and Library Services at the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library.

First Thursdays in the Library Series. During the 2011/12 school year, the Library will continue to offer the series “First Thursdays in the Library”. This year will have a slightly different focus than in the past. We plan to feature our own expertise in the areas of information, technology, or health topics. Our hope is that these topics will be of interest to you and will stimulate thought and discussion.
