Search Tip: Access Citation Data Using Web of Knowledge/MEDLINE

Web of Knowledge features the ability to track the impact of articles through citation analysis of its database of journals.  Did you know that you can combine this feature with MEDLINE using the MEDLINE database in the Web of Knowledge?  In addition to seeing the number of times articles have been cited, you can also create citation alerts, find similar articles (which may lead to potential collaborators), and even suggest corrections to data used in an article.

Go ahead and take a test drive.  Click on MEDLINE from the Select a Database tab on Web of Knowledge’s search page.  Search for an article you have written or an article on a topic of interest, click on the citation, and then look over the Web of Knowledge features on the right side of the screen.
