Maybe you’ve heard of RefWorks, but wondered how it can help you with your research and writing. Take a look at these examples to see how RefWorks has helped your colleagues at UVa.
- Lisa is a graduate student in UVa’s nursing program and has recently resumed her education after many years in the workforce. Writing papers with the bibliography in the correct format is a challenge. RefWorks has made Lisa’s life a lot easier. She can now focus on the content of the paper and not the mechanics.
- Michael and his colleagues are collaborating on a document. Michael uses RefShare to share references even with colleagues outside of UVa.
- Jennifer is on the House Staff. She appreciates the flexibility that RefMobile provides her. With her mobile device Jennifer can access her RefWorks account from anywhere.
What do these three people have in common? They have discovered that RefWorks can help simplify and organize their research results.
As a Web-based, free to UVa tool, RefWorks allows you to store references and attachments online, create bibliographies, and share references with others. You can access RefWorks from Popular Databases on the Library Home Page.
