Facebook began as a place where college students could gather and interact online. Today, however, it is much more than a gathering place for undergrads; many of us use it to connect and reconnect with family and friends. Inevitably, these interactions spill over into ones professional life and may cause some concern for personal privacy. Never fear, Facebook has excellent privacy controls.

PubMed the premier biomedical bibliographic database, recently underwent an extensive cosmetic overhaul in its interface. Most functionality including search processing, has not changed while a simplified and attractive look promotes ease of use.
Nearly 79% of our entering medical students reported that they send text messages from their cell phones on a daily basis. Why not give them – and other mobile devices users – a way to text their librarian?
The Veritas Student Art Exhibit is now on display in the Health Sciences Library Lobby, and in the 1st floor Reading Room 102. The exhibit will show from October 22nd through December 22nd.
